Children 3 years and older old

 

Your child will be entitled to 15 hours free childcare from the term AFTER their 3rd birthday (30 hours if both parents work at least 16 hours a week) from Hampshire County Council. This can be split between 2 settings. you can apply on gov.uk. a code will be given for the preschool Manager. this needs to be updated every 3 months to keep your code active.

You will need to complete a form that will be given to you at the start of every term. Staff will help you with this.

 

Any hours over the 15 hours will be charged at £6.25 per hour.

 

 

Children under 3 years old - Please note we cater for children aged 2 years and above.

 

Children UNDER 3 can sometimes receive 15 hours funding (called 2 year old funding) if you are in receipt of Income Support or on a low income. you can apply for this on hampshire county website which can tell you straight away, in most cases, if you are eligible. If you are eligible for this you will be given a code to bring to preschool.

 

If you are not eligible for funding, fees will be charged at £6.75 per hour until they are 3 years old. This is because we need a higher staff/child ratio.

 

 

Paying your fees

 

Fees are payable even if they miss sessions. Fees may be waived if your child is in hospital.

6 weeks’ notice must be given if you wish to cancel your sessions.

Allocation of places

 

Places are allocated in age order and priority is given to children that will be starting school in the September.
